GlyphDroid uses your phone's rear camera flash (torch) to blink in sync with the beat — just like Nothing Phone's Glyph interface. The camera itself is never used to take photos or record video.
No video is captured or stored. The camera stream is used only to access the flash LED hardware. All processing stays on your device.
Optional mic listening mode lets the flash react to ambient music or sound around you — no recording, just real-time beat detection.
You can still use GlyphDroid without granting camera access — the glyph animation and haptics will work, but the torch flash won't.
